Bill Schwieterman is an expert in the clinical development of a wide range of investigational therapeutic agents, including biological and pharmaceutical agents. He is a board-certified internist and a rheumatologist who spent 10 years at FDA primarily associated with the Center for Biologics where he oversaw a wide range of clinical development plans for new agents for pulmonary medicine, neurology, sepsis, hepatitis, rheumatology, infectious disease, solid organ transplantation, and wound healing, among other areas, and also worked closely with reviewers of vaccines, devices, and oncologic products. Dr. Schwieterman provides expert advice and guidance to biotech and pharmaceutical companies at all stages of clinical development and counsels sponsors on optimal negotiating strategies in areas of clinical trial design and overall development.
